COMMUNITY EVENTS

Apex Community School co-sponsors a number of events through the Grange in the Meadows. These events are family-friendly and we have an information booth staffed by family volunteers, contributing to the community.

INFORMAL PARENT INFORMATION MEETINGS

Prior to the scheduled meetings of the Board of Directors for Apex Community School, the volunteer Directors and Principal for Apex are available to meet with those interested in learning more about the school.  These informal meetings happen 45 minutes before the start of the Board meetings.  Board meetings are open to the public so please stay around for the meeting.  For a schedule of Board of Director meetings for Apex Community School, click here: http://apexschool.co/board-docs/

All Board of Directors meetings are held at 826 Park St. in the conference room of Castle Oaks Covenant Church.

COFFEE CHATS

Once a month Apex will holds informal coffee chats at local establishments.  During these times the Principal and/or a representative from Apex will be available to informally share what's happening and answer your specific questions.  Stop by any time within this time frame that works for you. Coffee chats are typically mid-morning and children, as always, are welcome.

IN HOME PRESENTATIONS

Have a small group of friends/neighbors that would be interested in hearing about Apex?  If so, go ahead and schedule an in-home presentation.  These in-home presentations are one of our most popular ways to learn about the school.  Invite a few neighbors and friends, schedule a date/time and our Principal will come to a home and present about the unique mission and philosophy of Apex and answer parents' specific questions.  If that is of interest to you, email us at ApexSchoolCO@gmail.com, putting "In Home Presentation" in the subject line and one of our volunteers will work with you to find a date/time that works. In respect for everyone's time, we try to have at least five adult, individuals at these in-home presentations.

INFORMATION TABLES @ KING SOOPERS (PROMENADE)

We will have an information table at the entrance of King Soopers where you can stop by, meet other family volunteers and learn a little more about the school.

ENROLLMENT PACKET PARTIES

Before we submit your enrollment packet to the DCSD for final submission, we have set aside the following dates where volunteers will be on hand to assist and assure that your child's enrollment packet is complete and ready.  There will be refreshments, games, music and prizes.
